“O God, You are my God, Early will I seek You.” Psalm 63:1
Time alone with God must be our 1st priority. If that’s not right, nothing else will be. Everything we do will be worthless works of the flesh.
Keep in mind there is a difference between time with God and time “alone” with God.
There are different ways we can spend time with God, like attending a church service, serving in a ministry, attending a Bible study or prayer meeting and all that is helpful, but none of these things should ever replace our time “alone” with God.
It’s in our times alone with God, away from all the distractions, that we can completely focus on Him and have conversations and encounters with Him that transform the way we live our life.
If you have ever spent quality time alone with God you know what I mean. It is here that a true work of purity and power take place. We become joined with Him and He with us, positioning us to be inspired and empowered by Him in all that we do.
So each day, before doing anything, let us first take time to be alone with God.
He is our Priority!
